In MediusGo, invoices and permissions are managed through users and roles. A user represents a personal login to the system, and all activity is linked to this login. Roles control which functions and permissions each user has, which creates structure and facilitates administration of the system.
Users
A user is a personal login to the system.
The user can:
- Manage invoices
- Be the recipient of invoices (receive them in their personal queue)
- Review invoices
Depending on their rights, a user can also:
- Approve invoices
- Search for invoices
- Manage group queues
- Administer the system
A user who is not an addressee does not receive any invoices in their personal queue, but can still work in group queues and administer the system.
All activity in MediusGo is linked to the user.
It is the user who:
- Logins to the system
- Receives invoices
- Uses their signature when approving
- Creates traceable log data
Roles
Roles are used to organize and control user rights in the system. A user can have multiple roles and thus have access to different functions.
The purpose of the roles is to:
- Simplify the management of rights
- Make it easier to give new employees the same permissions
- Create a clear structure in the system
Standard roles in MediusGo:
| Role | Description |
| Reviewer | Checks that the invoice content is correct. |
| Approval | Approves and certifies invoices. Several approval roles with different amount limits and/or different coding values can be set up. |
| Invoice administrator | Manages the invoice flow and can make adjustments to invoices. |
| System administrator | Responsible for system settings, users, roles, etc. |
