Smartflow is the first feature in Genie. It helps with:

• Coding
• Addressing (reviewer)
• Amount distribution
• Accrual
• Possible touchless handling

The basis of Genie Smartflow is simple: it analyzes how previous invoices have been handled and uses that history to create suggestions. This can involve coding, who normally reviews invoices from a particular vendor, how amounts are usually distributed, or how an invoice is usually accrued. When Genie has contributed, it is clearly visible in the invoice window, so you always know where the system has assisted.

Genie does not make decisions for you, it creates suggestions – you choose whether you want to use them. If a suggestion is incorrect, you adjust it as usual. When the invoice is posted, Genie learns from the change, which means that its accuracy gradually improves. In this way, the function builds on your actual working methods rather than on general rules.

Smartflow works best on recurring, similar expense invoices.
